Lucy Ragsdale High

Lucy Ragsdale High was built in 1959 and has been accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools since 1962, the first school in Guilford county to receive this recognition. The current principal is only the third principal in the history of the school.

Sedgefield Country Club

sedgefield country clubSedgefield Country Club became the 7th McConnell Golf Property in early 2011. Built in 1926, the purchase of the Sedgefield Inn as its Clubhouse, which was the birthplace of the Atlantic Coast Conference in 1953, is “home” to the many world class golfers like Arnold Palmer, Gary Player, Sam Snead, and Ben Hogan who participated in the Greater Greensboro Open.  History continues today as the former GGO has returned home to Sedgefield Country Club as the Wyndham Championship.

But Golf is not the only amenity offered to members. You can enjoy a Tennis Center, Fitness and Aerobic Center as well as an Aquatic Center.  Families are welcomed to the Club with any Full Golf Membership.
